Every product listing displays the following:

- Weight - The combined shipping weight of the item, this includes the item itself, any accompanying hardware and/or installation manual, packaging materials, etc.
- Install Difficulty - We use a 5 wrench system for rating the installation difficulty of our products. We realize not everyone is a certified mechanic and what may seem simple to some may be more complex and involved to others.
- NOTE: The ratings below are only meant to serve as guidelines to help you understand the knowledge and experience required (in our opinion) to install products we sell. By providing this information, VacuBrain assumes you know your own limits, knowledge, and understanding of automotive repair, modification, and product installation and assumes no liability for your installation decision or quality. VacuBrain recommends all of our products be installed by a professional, certified mechanic. If you choose to perform the installation of any of our products on your own, you assume all risk and liability. If you are unsure about installing a product, we recommend you find a certified mechanic in your area to perform the installation.
- 1 wrench installs require little to no mechanical experience. Factory/existing attachment locations, bolts, etc. are used and only basic knowledge of hand tools is required.
- 2 wrench installs may require very basic automotive knowledge. If you're comfortable changing your own oil, a 2 wrench install should be no problem for you.
- 3 wrench installs require you to be comfortable performing a little more in-depth tasks and minor vehicle modification; things such as: removing interior panels, working in and around the dash, basic knowledge of electrical wiring, and maybe some minor mechanic knowledge.
- 4 wrench installs are more complex and require moderate mechanic experience. You should be comfortable with performing minor engine repairs, suspension work, brake jobs, etc. Professional installation is recommended.
- 5 wrench installs are only for those that have very in-depth mechanical knowledge and are comfortable performing just about any modification or repair on their vehicle(s). 5 wrench installs are only for those who have many years of experience and are potentially even a certified mechanic. Professional installation is highly recommended.
